Weltis is a startup founded in late 2021 in the Netherlands - the country with the highest level of financial education in the European Union (source).

From the beginning, our goal has been to help people make more informed financial and investment decisions.

Why? Because we all make daily decisions with our money. Sometimes these are small choices (like daily expenses), sometimes important choices (like managing an inheritance or investing for our future).

The problem is that these choices are rarely made with intentionality and are seldom instrumental to the true objectives and phases of our lives (such as buying a house, having a family, filling the pension gap, and so on).

In short, we too often treat money as the end goal, when the only way to make the RIGHT choices is to treat it as a means.

This is why we created Weltis. We are a pan-European team that combines Amsterdam's financial culture with London's innovative models to bring solutions to a the European market that still lacks innovation.

We aim to democratize and simplify access to financial planning, offering transparency, clarity, and completely independent support.

Why now?

In the last ten years, we have witnessed a democratization and digitalization of banking services and investment platforms.

However, a crucial problem remains: the difficulty of making informed and personalized decisions with these tools. There are two risks:

1. Copying financial strategies found on social media without understanding if they are truly suitable for your situation.

2. Blindly relying on sales of financial products from banks, postal services, or insurance companies through promoters who are unconcerned with our financial success.

The solution to all this exists and it's called Financial Planning. ✅

What does a planner do?

The financial planner is a key figure for money management and achieving personal financial goals. They combine expertise to provide individuals and families with personalized plans that take into account current and future needs, such as buying a house, education, or retirement.

Only by considering all these aspects together is it possible to make truly informed financial decisions. If investments, accounts, and insurance are the ingredients of a cake provided by banks and promoters, the planner helps the client create the recipe.

In countries with greater financial maturity, the financial planner is a central figure in advisory services, while in Italy the term is still not widely used. Traditional financial advisors tend to focus on investment products and insurance, often without a complete analysis of the client's context.
